People: JP Morgan appoints co-head of equities

JP Morgan has appointed Mark Leung and Jason Sippel (pictured) as the new co-heads of its equities division, following the departure of Tim Throsby who will join Barclays as president of Barclays Corporate & International and chief executive of Barclays Corporate and Investment Bank. Leung and Sippel will also manage the prime services business with James Kenny as well as joining the corporate and investment bank management team.
