PD3 risk factors pose a 'big challenge' for structured products manufacturers, Delta Capita
As the structured products and derivatives market gears up to meet the deadlines for implementation around Priips and Mifid 2, the European Securities and Markets Authority (Esma) has released three consultation papers (CP) on the Prospectus Regulation, a new regulatory framework that will void and replace the existing Prospectus Directive (PD) 2, that will come into effect in 2019. SRP spoke to Sarah Natt (pictured), head of LDSS, managed services at Delta Capita about the changes the PD3 will bring, the overlapping with Priips/Kid and Mifid 2, and how the new guidelines posed specific challenges for the structured product industry as it will force manufacturers to review their offering, processes, systems, etc.
