Structured products in South Africa becoming mainstream, but passing down risk, Standard Bank
The market for structured products in South Africa is developing despite still being 'very niched', with most product providers concentrating on in-house distribution channels, according to Richard Juchniewicz (pictured), manager, retail equity derivatives at Standard Bank in South Africa. "We haven't seen any new major entrants, but we have seen raised awareness around structured products as they become more mainstream," said Juchniewicz.
