Tim Scanlon, a long-serving managing director in equity derivatives at Credit Suisse and most recently head of equity derivative sales in New York, joined Societe Generale in April 2017 as head of equity derivatives flow sales in the US. Scanlon remains in New York and reports to Joseph Elmlinger (pictured), managing director, head of equity derivatives and structured product sales, Americas, at the French bank. Scanlon left the Swiss bank after joining from Paine Webber, the US stock brokerage and asset management company acquired by UBS. At Paine Webber, Scanlon was an Asian equity derivatives trader and, before that, an equity derivatives trader at DE Shaw.
