Norway Market Review - Q4 2017

The Norwegian market picked up in 2017 with sales levels rising by 20% compared to 2016 when the market took a dip. Issuance, however, decreased by 5% on the previous year. Nordea, the most consistent Norwegian distributor, saw its sales, at NOK856m (€89m), increase by 24.7%, claiming 46% of the market (up from 39% in 2016), while Garantum, with sales of NOK807m, was the second most active provider, with a market share of 41%.
