J.P. Morgan continues to outpace the other 15 issuer groups in the fourth quarter of 2023 while Goldman Sachs ratches up its issuance following a downward trend.
In Q4 23, the total structured notes sales volume registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) climbed 11.0% to US$29.3 billion year-on-year (YoY), which was generated from 8,911 new products brought to market. The sales volume however was down 10.9% from the previous quarter when the market reached a record high , on the back of increased activity in August. J.P.
