New SRP website to offer ‘dashboard’ functionality

SRP is now counting the days before the relaunch of its StructuredRetailProducts.com website, which will include a complete redesign of the current site and the addition of new navigation tools.

The main functionality of the new website is a 'dashboard' allowing users to customise, group and display bespoke content by setting preferences through the new tab and app functionalities: "We want our users to be in control of what content is displayed on their SRP homepage," said SRP's head of technology David Perez. "We have removed the concept of a static homepage and introduced a customisable dashboard so that users no longer have to visit specific product pages or construct new search queries each time they log in."

The new tab tool included in the dashboard has been designed to allow users to view and compare market and product data with greater ease and flexibility, and is unique to the needs of individual users as it also allows them to organise and display the information using three different formats: "The aim of the tabs in the dashboard is to allow users to manipulate news and data across the website to access different forms of analysis," said Perez.
