SRP launches Private Banking database

SRP has expanded its coverage with the launch of a dedicated private banking database, bringing the number of SRP databases to 35.  In addition to private banking products, institutional and offshore structured products will be included.

"As regulatory pressures force banks to move further into the discretionary space we feel it is important to keep pace with this change.  We believe it is in the wider interests of manufacturers to be able to spot and analyse the opportunities across private wealth, institutional and retail sectors and so we are catering to this demand", said SRP MD Jan Scibor-Kaminski.  "We would encourage clients who wish to send through any feedback or data to do so: this is a bold move that will add value to our clients through greater transparency in terms of inflows, sales volumes and market trends".

The Private Banking database currently holds some 55,000 products with an estimated sales volume of $306bn across 54 countries.  This data will be available to firms that subscribe to the 'Private Banking' database.
