Ringing the changes
As befits the new year, January 2012 will bring changes to
SRP’s offering. This is the last SRPMagazine of the year and
the last in its current format. From late January 2012 features,
profiles, market round-ups, pricing updates and product
focuses will be available on www.StructuredRetailProducts.
com’s new website. You will no longer need to wait until the
publication of the next digital issue – all content will be
available to view online as and when it is produced and,
going forward, content will be fully searchable and accessible
on mobile devices and tablets. Past editions of SRP Magazine
will also be available via our online archive.
2011 has been very difficult for many markets, but there are
some upbeat tales to tell, not least in the US and Germany,
where demand has grown substantially. This last issue of the
year accentuates the positive. Israel’s Bank Hapoalim tells how
it is striving to make inroads into the US (p.28). UK providers
talk about the upside of the regulator’s RDR review (p.18), and
the Inside Views this month come from EFG’s Alex Robinson,
who discusses counterparty risk (p.23), and MSCI’s executive
director Ricardo Manrique talks about the increasing role of
emerging markets in asset allocation (p.25).
It remains only to thank you once again and on behalf of SRP’s
editorial team to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a
prosperous 2012.
