US securities firm grows CD and structured note business

Piper Jaffray Companies, a US investment bank and institutional securities firm, has bolstered its CD and structured note underwriting business by hiring a whole team of structured products executives from First Empire Securities, a US fixed income broker-dealer for institutional investors.
