Some 413 structured products worth ZAR1.2 billion (US$80m) were added to the SRP South Africa database in the fourth quarter of 2020.

This is a 54% decrease by issuance from the previous quarter but similar to the fourth quarter of 2019. Six hundred and ninety-six products with combined sales of approximately ZAR1 billion had strike dates during the period, slightly less compared to the previous quarter but there was a 69% increase in volumes sold.
