The Dutch private banking group is starting to reap the benefits from its rigorous risk policy.

Van Lanschot Kempen (VLK) has posted a net result of €58.3m for the first half of 2021, up from €9.5m in H1 2020. Losses related to the group’s structured products activities fell to €1.4m, a significant improvement on the first semester of 2021 when it incurred losses of €27.3m.
