The Spanish bank has strengthened its position as the second most active provider in the country.

BBVA Bancomer increased its structured product sales across the Mexican market by 58% in the third quarter of 2021 with MXN30.3 billion (US$1.5 billion) for 498 products compared with MXN19 billion (506 products) in the same period a year prior. The bank has remained in second place on the league tables over the past year behind Monex , although sales and issuance have fluctuated.
