His prior roles include serving as CFO of Mifel Financial Group, deputy CEO of Aeromexico and as deputy general director of financial planning at the Mexican Ministry of Finance.

Javier has a BA in economics from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and is a graduate of Yale University, where he received a PhD in economics.

As the head of applied research, Melissa generates unique insights into risk trends by consolidating and analyzing the vast amount of data on market and portfolio risk maintained by Axioma (now part of Qontigo).

Melissa’s perspectives help both clients and prospects to better understand and adapt to the constantly changing risk environment. As an author of Qontigo Insight: Quarterly Risk Review, she reports on the state of risk in publicly traded equity markets around the globe. In addition, she produces periodic special reports on a broad range of topics of interest to investors and asset owners, is a frequent speaker on the subject of market risk and is often quoted by the financial media.

Prior to joining Axioma (now part of Qontigo) in 2011, Melissa was managing director and head of the institutional business at Wintrust Capital Management. Before that, she spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, most recently as a partner in the quantitative investment strategies (QIS) Group. At Goldman Sachs Asset Management, she worked closely with clients as the senior portfolio manager for GSAM’s US Equity Strategy, before becoming co-head of Client Portfolio Management in the QIS Group. She was previously Director of Quantitative Research at Prudential Securities, where among other things she popularized the idea of the “cockroach theory” of earnings surprise and appeared on Institutional Investor’s “All-Star” list for 10 straight years.

Melissa is a Chartered Financial Analyst. She holds a BS in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from New York University.

She also serves as a global spokesperson for S&P DJI’s ESG Indices, educating the market on the values of ESG investing and our industry-leading ESG lineup.

Prior to joining the ESG team, Maggie was a part of the S&P DJI Financial Advisor Channel team, where she was responsible for educating financial advisors on benefits and strategies for index-based investing through ETFs. Previously, Maggie was the Western U.S. ETF Specialist for American Century Investments. In this role, she was responsible for the education, implementation, and sales of ETFs. Maggie was also director of strategic accounts with Milliman Financial Risk Management in Chicago. She has spent much of her career working with start-up ETF providers and established asset managers looking to enter the ETF space, including Invesco, ETF Securities, and Northern Trust FlexShares.

Maggie holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Morgan, 12 of which were spent on the structured investments team, first as a senior sales person, and eventually as the team’s manager.  Under Larry’s leadership, the J.P. Morgan structured investments team rose to the top of the market and is now widely recognized as one of the most developed and successful platforms in the United States.

Larry has a bachelor of science from Oakwood University and a master of business administration from University of Chicago – Booth. Larry is the proud father of three beautiful ladies, Olivia (12), Elisabeth (8) and Lorena (3).

Yinglu is director of third party structured sales (NAM) for Citi’s cross-asset solutions for financial intermediaries, where she leads a team that creates and markets products that help investors reduce the downside risk of risky assets and/or gain exposure to difficult-to-access assets. She has over a decade of financial services experiences and was previously a director in structured product sales at Credit Suisse. Prior to Credit Suisse,  Yinglu was a vice president in the equities structuring group at Deutsche Bank.

Yinglu holds an MBA from the Wharton School and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
