Prior to his current role, Stefan served as head of cross-markets. He joined the company in 2003, already holding 11 years of industry experience.
Stefan started his career in 1992 as an options trader. He has since held positions in the structuring and sale of securitised products and retail product business (including Marketing) at Swiss Bank Corporation, Morgan Stanley and ABN Amro. He is also a Member of the Board of Deutsche Derivative Association and a Delegate of the Swiss Structured Products Association.

Mikael started his career as an analyst at Merrill Lynch Investment Banking in London.
In 2004, he moved back to his native Sweden, heading up E*TRADE’s push into structured products in the Nordic countries in co-operation with Merrill Lynch. In 2007, he founded and became CEO of Oak Capital, which by the time of his departure was a leading distributor of structured products in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Mikael joined Garantum in 2010 to oversee and expand the company’s international operation. He was promoted to Deputy CEO in 2012 and took over as CEO in 2015.

Karim is the global head of front office derivatives at Bloomberg. He currently oversees the strategy and development of industry leading systems for derivatives across all asset classes, with a focus on front office players and workflows. Prior to assuming this role, Karim worked as EMEA head of financial engineers, and then as global head of the derivatives library. Before joining Bloomberg in 2010, he worked at Barclays Capital where he launched the quantitative investment strategies business and headed the rapid response team. He supervised quantitative projects and was member of the Equity Steering Committee across all trading desks. Alex joined the SGX from Credit Suisse where he was Managing Director and Head of European Prime Derivative Services and responsible for ETD execution and clearing, OTC client clearing and FXPB.
