BNP Paribas appoints global head of EQD strategy

BNP Paribas has appointed Edmund Shing ( pictured ) global head of equity derivatives strategy in its corporate and institutional banking division. Based in London, Shing will focus primarily on serving the bank’s institutional investor and absolute-return fund clients. He will also engage with other entities, including sovereign wealth funds and central banks. Shing will manage a team of strategists in London, Paris, Hong Kong and New York, and coordinate the bank’s equity derivatives strategy
