Life insurance firm American Equity has introduced a Destinations fixed indexed annuity (FIA), a first-of-its-kind for the company, providing multiple allocation options that include a new volatility-controlled index developed with Bank of America.

The BoA Destinations Index is exclusive to the 10-year term FIA and combines three assets using two time-invested investment principles that are balanced risk and momentum.
