Melissa’s perspectives help both clients and prospects to better understand and adapt to the constantly changing risk environment. As an author of Qontigo Insight: Quarterly Risk Review, she reports on the state of risk in publicly traded equity markets around the globe. In addition, she produces periodic special reports on a broad range of topics of interest to investors and asset owners, is a frequent speaker on the subject of market risk and is often quoted by the financial media.
Prior to joining Axioma (now part of Qontigo) in 2011, Melissa was managing director and head of the institutional business at Wintrust Capital Management. Before that, she spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, most recently as a partner in the quantitative investment strategies (QIS) Group. At Goldman Sachs Asset Management, she worked closely with clients as the senior portfolio manager for GSAM’s US Equity Strategy, before becoming co-head of Client Portfolio Management in the QIS Group. She was previously Director of Quantitative Research at Prudential Securities, where among other things she popularized the idea of the “cockroach theory” of earnings surprise and appeared on Institutional Investor’s “All-Star” list for 10 straight years.

Dale Burke is a product manager responsible for the Oneview for Trading product at Numerix. Dale is a CFA and FRM charterholder and has held a variety of roles working in middle and front office in banking before moving over to work on systems implementation with a focus on front office integration. Dale obtained his undergraduate degree from Trent University in Canada.

Prior to joining the ESG team, Maggie was a part of the S&P DJI Financial Advisor Channel team, where she was responsible for educating financial advisors on benefits and strategies for index-based investing through ETFs. Previously, Maggie was the Western U.S. ETF Specialist for American Century Investments. In this role, she was responsible for the education, implementation, and sales of ETFs. Maggie was also director of strategic accounts with Milliman Financial Risk Management in Chicago. She has spent much of her career working with start-up ETF providers and established asset managers looking to enter the ETF space, including Invesco, ETF Securities, and Northern Trust FlexShares.

Nate leads the quantitative development group within Milliman's financial risk management practice in Chicago. He focuses on hedge strategy development and provides quantitative finance support for a number of active hedge programs spanning a range of life insurance products, such as indexed annuities and variable annuities. His work has also included the development of funds, strategies and indices for products within the insurance space.

Prior to joining Forte Securities, Mohamed headed US Dynamic strategies structuring at UBS and equities structuring Americas at Deutsche Bank. He also worked at Merrill Lynch and MSCI Barra. During his career, Mohamed has designed and executed investment solutions with numerous institutional and corporate clients. He holds a Master's of Science from Ecole Centrale Paris. Karim is the global head of front office derivatives at Bloomberg. He currently oversees the strategy and development of industry leading systems for derivatives across all asset classes, with a focus on front office players and workflows. Prior to assuming this role, Karim worked as EMEA head of financial engineers, and then as global head of the derivatives library. Before joining Bloomberg in 2010, he worked at Barclays Capital where he launched the quantitative investment strategies business and headed the rapid response team. He supervised quantitative projects and was member of the Equity Steering Committee across all trading desks. Prior to that he worked as a quantitative analyst at BNP Paribas and strategist at Goldman Sachs, developing innovative products, analytics and front office systems for market data, pricing, hedging, life cycle and risk management.

Shila Wattamwar oversees Sustainalytics’ strategic partnerships globally. As a trusted and experienced senior advisor, Shila leads on the development of Sustainalytics’ distribution strategy. As part of her role, she works closely with the broader Morningstar organisation, supporting them on integrating Sustainalytics’ data into their various research platforms. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Larry spent 16 years at J.P. Morgan, 12 of which were spent on the structured investments team, first as a senior sales person, and eventually as the team’s manager. Under Larry’s leadership, the J.P. Morgan structured investments team rose to the top of the market and is now widely recognized as one of the most developed and successful platforms in the United States.

She has over a decade of financial services experiences and was previously a director in structured product sales at Credit Suisse. Prior to Credit Suisse, Yinglu was a vice president in the equities structuring group at Deutsche Bank.
