Mathias Strasser is the chief executive officer of the WSD group, which has three business units: (1) WallStreetDocs, a solution for the automatic creation and distribution of legal documentation for structured products, (2) Scissero, a legal artificial intelligence platform capable of marking up and extracting information from legal documents and (3) Firelex, a software platform designed to allow lawyers to become coders.

Simon Zhang is a counsel at Linklaters based in Hong Kong. He is a key member of the firm’s China derivatives and structured products team. Simon has extensive experience in derivatives transactions relating to the Chinese market or involving Chinese counterparties. He was invited by the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors to be a member of its drafting group and prepared the 2009 version of NAFMII Master Agreement which is now widely used in China onshore derivatives market. He advised Hong Kong Stock Exchange on setting up the Mainland-Hong Kong Stock Connect platform, and later on the Bond Connect mechanism between China Interbank Bond Market and Hong Kong CMU. Simon has advised institutional investors on their onshore investment in Chinese financial market under QFII/RQFII, Stock Connect, CIBM direct access, and Bond Connect regimes, and he also advised Chinese QDII investment in offshore markets. Simon’s practice is based on his understanding of commercial needs of market participants and international practice of derivatives industry, with the combination of his solid knowledge in Chinese law. Simon is a New York registered lawyer and is qualified to practise law in the PRC.
