Mikael started his career as an analyst at Merrill Lynch Investment Banking in London. In 2004, he moved back to his native Sweden, heading up E*TRADE’s push into structured products in the Nordic countries in co-operation with Merrill Lynch. In 2007, he founded and became CEO of Oak Capital, which by the time of his departure was a leading distributor of structured products in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Mikael joined Garantum in 2010 to oversee and expand the company’s international operation. He was promoted to Deputy CEO in 2012 and took over as CEO in 2015. Mikael holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.”

Lars Brandau has been managing director for the German Derivatives Association (Deutscher Derivate Verband, DDV) since it was established. He also represents DDV in the working groups of the European umbrella association, EUSIPA.
He is a proven communications expert. Before joining DDV, he held a number of senior roles at the news broadcaster n-tv - among others, the position of main news anchor. He reported from war zones and other crisis-hit areas, commented on many regional and national elections in Germany, and moderated the Telebörse stock market information service for a period of three years.

Peter De Clercq is the CEO of Quantessence. For 8 years before joining Quantessence, Peter was MD at Barclays Capital where he ran the sales and project management of the bank’s main iCPPI programme. Alex joined the SGX from Credit Suisse where he was Managing Director and Head of European Prime Derivative Services and responsible for ETD execution and clearing, OTC client clearing and FXPB. During his time at Credit Suisse, Alex played a key role in developing the European OTC clearing business, growing the asset management client clearing franchise, leading the listed derivative regulatory change agenda and developing ETD analytical and DMA execution capabilities. Charlotte has been chief executive officer and partner at Nord Fondkommission since 2015. She joined from Swedbank, where she worked as global head of financial institutions as well as being responsible for securities services and parts of transaction banking.
Since beginning her career as an interbank dealer in the capital markets trading arena at SEB over 25 years ago, Charlotte held a variety of different positions at SEB. These include head of structured products, senior advisor to the head of trading capital markets, senior adviser to the head of merchant banking and global head of marketing for the SEB Group.
Charlotte holds an MScs degree in business and economics from Stockholm School of Economics.
