Royal Fidelity Merchant Bank & Trust has listed a fund-wrapped, commodity-linked structured product on the Bahamas International Securities Exchange.
Tigrs 3 is a $5m 4.75-year capital-protected fund offering 100% participation in a basket comprising gold, copper and nickel.
President Michael Anderson said the product is the first in the Bahamas to offer local currency commodity investment with capital protection. It is the firm's fourth listed vehicle.
