RBS Private Banking has launched Combi Saver Issue 9 - Environmental Strategy, also being distributed through Natwest Private Banking, offering a variable rate coupon throughout the three and a half year investment period in addition to participating in the rise of the RBS Environmental Strategy Index.
The investment is split equally between a special access savings account and a growth account linked to RBS' customised index.
On half the investment a coupon of 3% above the base rate is paid for the first six months. Thereafter, a coupon matching the base rate is paid. Interest is paid monthly.
The other half of the investment offers full capital protection plus 70% participation in the rise of the RBS Environmental Strategy over the term of the product.
The product is open for subscription up until 24 September 2010.
