BNP Paribas Fortis Funding has attracted combined sales of €218m for its four Duo Coupon Plus Notes in Belgium.
The eight-year Luxembourg-listed MTNs offer a fixed coupon of 4% pa on half of the capital invested after six months. On the remaining 50% of capital, the notes pay a variable coupon linked to the performance of 20 international stocks subject to a minimum 1% and a maximum of 6.5% pa.
The firm, formerly known as Fortis Luxembourg Finance, launched its first Duo Coupon note - which collected €61m - in June this year. Issue two, three and four, which were issued during July, August and September, sold €66m, €58m and €33m respectively.
Duo Coupon Note 5 is currently in its subscription period, which will run until 12 November.
