Standard Bank Offshore Group has launched a new tranche of its GBP and USD-denominated capital-protected Accumulator series almost a year after the first launch of the series.
The Emerging Accumulator is a five-year knockout with potential returns linked to the performance of the iShare MSCI Brazil Index Fund and the Hang Seng China Enterprise Index. This growth product will mature early and pay out 11.75% (14.50% for US dollars) for each year elapsed if the two underlying indices close at or above their respective strike levels on any of the annual observation dates. The product includes a 50% soft-protection barrier.
"Given the current economic and political uncertainty, now might be an ideal time to commit to a product which provides peace of mind along with the opportunity to take advantage of continued stock market recovery," said Adam Hunt, head of HNW private clients at Standard Bank.
As previously reported, Standard Bank is also marketing the fourth tranche of its Quantum Plus series for offshore investors. Both products are open for subscription until 14 December 2010. Minimum investment amounts are £50,000 or $75,000.
This product is available in Recent Additions (UK and Offshore).
