HSBC Bank in Malta is offering a twenty-seventh tranche in its Equity Linked Deposit Account series.
Elda Emerging Markets Indices has a maximum term of five years and is linked to a basket comprising the MSCI Brazil (Ishares ETF), MSCI Taiwan and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index.
Each year, investors receive a 6% coupon, provided all indices are at or above 90% of their initial levels. In the third and fourth years the product matures early (along with the 6% coupon if the condition is met). If the product continues to maturity capital is returned along with any relevant coupon.
The product is available until 18 June. Minimum investment is €2,500.
