Belgian insurer Delta Lloyd Life has launched an appeal against the verdict reached by the court in Antwerp on 30 November in the SpaarSelect case. Delta Lloyd Life was found guilty by the Belgian court of breaching the Trade Practice Act and more particularly misleading marketing and advertising in the case concerning insurance broker SpaarSelect, which went bankrupt in 2004.
