Jonathan Stokes, senior compliance officer, securities, at Credit Suisse in London, has left the bank.

Stokes, an experienced risk and controls-focused adviser on regulatory compliance issues covering structured products, derivatives, and investment management, joined Credit Suisse in 2012 from UBS, where he spent a year as director, fixed income, currencies and commodities (FICC) compliance officer.

Prior to joining UBS, Stokes was a vice president, equity derivatives, compliance manager at RBS Global Banking & Markets where he covered cross-asset structured products, fund-linked products, cross-asset indices and dynamic strategies structuring and trading.

He joined RBS in 2010 from BP, where he spent two years as a compliance adviser, integrated supply and trading and he was in charge of Mifid implementation and investment advice implementation, as well as having responsibility for the firm’s quantitative listed cross-asset derivatives trading book, strategic physical oil origination and investment management.

Stokes joined BP from Morgan Stanley where he spent two years as an analyst within the bank’s law division responsible for Mifid implementation and systems development.

The destination of Stokes is unknown. He could not be reached by press time.
