Goldman Sachs has hired Joseph Giordano to join its equity derivatives sales team in the private-investor products group for the Americas, according to New York-based bankers. Giordano moves to Goldman from Royal Bank of Canada, where he was a director in the capital markets team. Giordano joined RBC in New York in 2010, selling structured notes to US third parties, reporting to Donald Dye, US head of structured products for individual investors. Before RBC, Giordano was a co-head of structured
