Barclays Capital will tomorrow introduce its promised retail structured product linked to Dutch hedge fund Holland Capital Management. The structure is especially designed for the Dutch market.
The product is targeted at retail investors and aims to benefit from the volatility in the corporate bond market. Holland Capital Management's strategy is designed to benefit from either growth or falls, and according to Barclays has generated a performance of 9% (annualised) since March 2006.
Charles Janssen, head of sales in The Netherlands, said, “With the Holland Capital Certificate the investors will get a good balance between risk and return. There is a 100% capital guarantee at maturity from Barclays Bank PLC and the investor can benefit from the good results of Holland Capital management.”
The UK bank is expecting the eight-year certificate to realise an annual return of 10%. There is a minimum investment of €1,000.
This product will appear shortly in Recent Additions (The Netherlands).
