Tthe UK's Newbury Building Society is the latest such organisation to sign up to distribute Credit Suisse structured deposits, managed by Keydata.

The Berkshire-based society said it is selling Guaranteed Capital Plus Account 12, its second structured product following a successful trial with Account 11 at the beginning of the summer. The three-year cliquet linked to the FTSE100 is also being distributed via Saffron and Scarborough Building Societies.

A Newbury source said sales seem to be going well; there appears to be no reason why Newbury would not continue the series beyond the current closing date of 30 August, he said. The product carries a £3,000 minimum deposit.
