Assurance group Aviva is offering Australian investors approaching retirement a capital protected CPPI fund.
Pre Select Capital Protect is a five-year fund managed by Deutsche Asset Management offering growth linked to either Australian equities chosen by Van Eyk fund managers or a basket of funds managed by Macquarie, Deutsche Asset Management and Van Eyk.A portfolio insurance mechanism allocates between equity assets and cash. The product is open to subscriptions until May 2008 and is available to both pension and tax-efficient savings wrappers.
