Luc François, former head of equities at Société Générale, will lead Morgan Stanley’s planned expansion on equity derivatives when he begins his role as head of European equities and global head of equity derivatives.François partly replaces David Russell, head of European equity trading, who is moving to Asia to become head of Asian equities.
