Standard Chartered has confirmed the hire of Yuri Sugiura to the newly created position of co-head of sales, Japan. A source close to the bank said Sugiura will investigate the building of an equity derivatives franchise as he fulfils his role as head of multi-product sales from his Tokyo base.
