The asset manager is growing its presence in the US indexed annuity market with a range of proprietary indices.

The Janus Henderson Equity Directionality Index ER (JEDI) is poised to emerge in the American annuity space for the first time through Minnesota Life’s AccumuLink Advance, following its debut in 2018. The tax-deferred product, which SRP first reported in February, will mark the insurance carrier’s entry into the registered index-linked annuity (Rila) space where sales have remained strong logging US$37 billion for the first half of the year .   Minnesota Life, a member of
