The equity derivatives structurer is joining his former boss after nearly 20 years at Credit Suisse as the Canadian bank goes on a spree of strategic hires in quantitative investment strategy (QIS).

Thibault Dufour ( pictured ) has joined BMO Capital Markets as managing director, head of QIS trading. Based in New York, Dufour is joining his former Credit Suisse manager, Hippo Agkpo, co-head of global equities since January 2024, according to a spokesperson at the Canadian lender.
