The global securities watchdog IOSCO says regulators need to act more quickly to create consistent rules and protect investors in crypto markets.
The International Organisation of Securities Commissions ( Iosco ) has released a new report looking at how different countries are applying its policy recommendations for crypto and digital asset (CDA) markets. This review covered 20 jurisdictions from both advanced and emerging economies. The focus was on governance, prevention of frauds, market integrity, conflicts of interest, custody and investor protection. IOSCO also pointed out that information sharing between regulators is still limi
