The French bank’s new recruit has a background leading regional structured credit and financing structuring at UBS.
Société Générale (SG) has hired Vallabh Shastri from UBS as its new co-head of structuring for products and solutions for Asia Pacific (Apac), a bank spokesperson told SRP. Based in Hong Kong SAR, Shastri has assumed the role along with another newly appointed co-head Guillaume Beaurain , who joined from Morgan Stanley a year ago as head of structuring for products and solutions across fixed income and equity derivatives within its global markets unit in Japan.
