ICE closed 2025 with record activity across futures, options and US equities, driven by higher volumes and rising open interest.
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) said a record 2.4 billion futures and options contracts were traded across its global derivatives markets in 2025, up 13% from the previous record set in 2024. Average daily volume across ICE’s derivatives venues also hit a new high of 9.3mn contracts, up 14% year on year.
