The firm has appointed former Morgan Stanley executive Shrikar Shah citing his background in structured notes issuance, trading and platform development.
SMBC Capital Markets, a subsidiary of SMBC Group, has appointed Shrikar Shah as head of interest rates structured trading to strengthen its broader sales and trading business amid global macro rates trading activities. Shah brings more than 20 years of experience in structured products Shah joins SMBC Capital Markets as a managing director based in New York. He reports to Gagan Sobti, head of macro rates trading, and assumes responsibility for leading the firm’s inter
