Sales of structured products in South Korea jumped 12% to KRW7.3 trillion (US$4.97 billion) in April compared with the prior year’s period, SRP data shows. The latest volumes shows a seven percent decline compared with the prior month. Equity-linked securities (ELS), also known as capital-at-risk autocallable notes, saw sales rising 46% year-on-year (YoY) to roughly KRW2.8 trillion during the month. This also reflected a 52% surge month-on-month. South Korea: sales of structured product
