ICE and Ornn are planning to launch graphics processing unit (GPU) compute futures contracts aimed at providing pricing and risk management tools.

Intercontinental Exchange and Ornn said that the proposed futures contracts will be based on Ornn’s Compute Price Index (OCPI), which tracks live-traded spot prices for GPU compute across different hardware types. The products are expected to cover GPU types including H100, H200, B200 and RTX 5090 The contracts will be denominated in US dollars and cash settled.
