The fourth-largest American bank has hired a structurer from UBS for a newly created role as it continues to expand its investment bank presence.

Wells Fargo has appointed Natalia Naber (pictured) as managing director, head of equity derivatives and quantitative investment strategies (QIS) structuring within the markets division, SRP has learnt. Naber’s registration with the US bank became effective from 20 May, according to BrokerCheck.  In this newly created role, Naber reports to Jasdeep Maghera, head of structured equity derivatives who joined in January from TD Securities. Naber has returned to New York to take on this
