The index aims to extend the Russell framework to global equities across US, developed world, excluding US and emerging markets.

FTSE Russell, the London Stock Exchange Group’s (LSEG’s) global index provider and owner of the Russell US Index family, has said it plans to launch the Russell 9000 Global Index.
