The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that Sam Waldon, principal deputy director of the division of enforcement, will leave the agency on 31 July 2026 after more than 14 years of service. Waldon began his career at the agency as a staff attorney The SEC said Osman Nawaz will succeed Waldon as principal deputy director.
