The Manhattan Life Insurance Company (ManhattanLife), a Texas-based privately held insurance firm, has completed its acquisition of Union Security Life Insurance Company of New York (Union Security) from Assurant, following the conclusion of regulatory review processes for public communications. Union Security was founded in 1971 and offers life insurance, annuities and accident and health products The transaction, finalised in March, gives ManhattanLife a second charter in New York and expa
