BMO Financial Group has completed the sale of 138 US branches to First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company (First Citizens Bank). BMO said that the sale supports its strategy to optimise its US financial centre network  The branches involved in the transaction are located in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Idaho, along with selected branches in Minnesota, Oregon and Illinois.
