International financial adviser deVere & Partners has added three new structured products to its catalogue of offshore offerings as part of its distribution agreements with Nomura and Deutsche Bank.

The Deutsche Bank Managed Alpha Growth (MAG) Diversified Note is an open-ended, soft-protected product investing in the DB Managed Alpha Growth Diversified Investment Strategy, comprising 15 specialist managers in resources, equities and fixed income. The product has 80% high watermark protection from Deutsche Bank and a dynamic allocation targeting 10% annual growth with minimal volatility.

"All fifteen managers [from DB's X-markets Managed Account Platform] are focused on fundamental stock research, deriving alpha from bottom-up stock picking. None of the portfolios is systematic or quant driven. Each manager has a different geographical, sectoral or strategic focus resulting in a diversified portfolio of long and short equity investments," said the bank.

deVere is also marketing DB Platinum II Balanced Momentum Fund, another capital-at-risk, open-ended investment fund, listed in Luxembourg, aiming to generate capital growth from its exposure to the trend-following DB Balanced Momentum USD index.

Finally, the IFA is also offering second tranches of the DB Resources Alpha Note, the five-year, capital-protected structure providing growth linked to Deutsche's market-neutral commodity strategy, which will be open until 28 September, and the Nomura 10% High Income Note II, a five-year, 50% soft-protected investment linked to a basket of stocks comprising Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Tesco, Metro and Ahold, which will be open until 2 October.

All these products are available in sterling, US dollar and euro classes. The DB products are not available for direct investment and can only be accessed through a handful of providers including Hansard, Generali, Friends Provident, Royal Skandia and Scottish Life International; and include an entry fee of 5% alongside a 2.1% annual management charge. The Nomura notes are available within the UK and offshore through the deVere Platform, Boston Funds Direct.

The minimum investment on all products is £50,000 or equivalent.

These products will be available shortly in Recent Additions (UK).
