HSBC in Brunei is offering SGD One-Month Dual Currency Plus Notes linked to sterling and SGD One-Month Dual Currency Plus Notes linked to the Australian dollar.

The sterling-linked notes pay up to 6.5% pa, while the AUD notes return up to 10% pa.

"The notes are easily accessible to all our investors. They are suitable for sophisticated investors who hold a strong view of the direction of the exchange rates and allow them the opportunity to earn much higher yields than possible through time deposits," said Jenny Lau, manager of premier and wealth management for HSBC Brunei.

The products are available until 7 May for minimum investments of SGD10,000 (US$7,200).
