Puma Investments, a UK specialist provider of tax-efficient investment solutions, has hired Shane Weston to its business development team.
In his role as senior business development manager, Weston will be responsible for building the profile of Puma Investments’ suite of investment offers, including Puma VCT 11, Puma Heritage, Puma EIS and the Puma AIM IHT Portfolio Service, among the adviser community.
Chief executive at Puma Investments’, David Kaye, said Weston hire follows a number of recent appointments as the company continues its growth strategy.
Weston joins Puma Investments from Meteor Asset Management where he was responsible for the distribution of the firm’s structured products across the South West of the United Kingdom.
Prior to this he worked at Barclays Wealth where he was responsible for the sale of a variety of Barclays’ products including discretionary portfolios, multi-manager funds, structured products and ETF portfolios.
Weston has also held positions at Catalyst Investment Group and Skandia.
