HSBC Bank Malaysia's latest structured investment is a technology stock-linked knockout deposit.

The Technology-linked FRNID is a four-year, capital-protected, ringgit-denominated deposit linked to a basket of five shares: Apple, Google, IBM and Intel, Oracle. If on any quarterly observation date, all share prices are at or greater than 105% of their initial levels, the product will mature and pay 6% annualised. If early redemption does not occur investors will receive their capital back at maturity.

Minimum investment is MYR65,000 ($20,000); the closing date is 27 July.
